Fun times

Yesterday a good friend (Tim Schooler) let me borrow a lens and I thought I would just share a couple that I shot while testing. The first one is of my wife and our new kitty. Be aware people, this animal may look calm and cool in photos, but in real life she is a monster!!!Also I had a good friend over who is leaving to go off to college in Virginia on Wednesday. We have been friends for a while so it is sad to see him go but I know he is off to great things.

Jory and Val (& my new video light!!)

For the past year I have really been wanting to photograph some night sessions with a Bride and Groom in dress and tux. Well... when Jory told me that he would do it and his Wife, Val, still had her wedding dress in my mind it was already done. We had an awesome shoot, and now my favorite time to shoot is at night!

Hanging out in Austin

Today (Sunday) I arrived in Austin to see some family and to help photograph a wedding here in Austin tomorrow. I will be working with someone new so I am really looking foward to it. I absolutely love working with new people just to get a new perspective on things and trade ideas. This is my first blog so hopefully more will come. The image on this blog is from a recent session with East Bayou Baptist Church in Lafayette, thanks to Kim for being such a patient model. I will try and post some images from the wedding soon.
