So I got a call from my friend Mark Eric this week to ask me to come up and shoot for a Good Morning America "Trash the Dress" special and just thought I would share. Please watch Good Morning America this Saturday morning (June 16th) to check it out. I actually spent most of the shoot in chest waders in the bayou!!! This was tons of fun and thanks so much mark for inviting me to come out!!! Here are a couple images from the shoot.

So this has been a long time coming but I have finally gotten around to completely redoing my website. I am really excited about how it looks and I think it was a necessary step for me in going to the next level with my business and photography. I love the feel of large images and I really wanted that to come through with the new layout. So there is this group in North Louisiana that call themselves "The Crazies" and I had the chance to go last week and shoot with them. Here are just a couple shots from our awesome time shooting, and hopefully you will be seeing more photos from future Crazies meetings! I don't have the chance much to get in front of the camera, but today we went to the park with some friends to shoot some family photos. The weather was absulutely beautiful and it was lots fun hanging out with everyone. Thanks to Jory for shooting.

I shot this the other day while driving and it was a shot that just stuck with me. I have been trying to photograph more in my everyday life and not just when it is for my "job", and have seen how much goes on around us every day without even stopping to notice. If I never would have stopped my car to photograph this sunset, then I would have continued driving and not thought about it twice. I hope that I stop more to notice the small things and find joy in them.

So I had been thinking that it might be fun to have a "wedding pet" of sorts to bring to weddings that I could make sure to get photos of at every wedding. Well, I acquired this disposable camera and thought that since I am a wedding photographer, it would only fitting for the pet to be a camera. Here are a couple pics from this wedding of Aimee, Bonnie, and myself with our pet camera. Be on the lookout for this guy at weddings to come. So I somewhat recently got a ringlight and have been testing it out. It provides this distinctive look that cannot really be achieved with any other type of light. Be on the lookout on some upcoming weddings for shots like this one of my assistant Bonnie (who might kill me for putting this up).

Last night I had the opportunity to photograph Angelique and Brandon's rehearsal/dinner. Even though it was raining it was a great event with fun times and great food. I thought it would be fun to shoot all natural light and everything in black and white, which I absolutely love. Check back early next week for photos from their wedding, it is going to be a great one.

I was in Dallas/FT. Worth last weekend for a photo seminar for a couple of days. I got to meet some great photographers and learned a whole lot. Here are some sample images from the seminar, thanks Jennifer and Ross for your sharing hearts and allowing me to post these images.
I had the chance to shoot some in New Orleans this weekend and it was an absolute blast. I had the opportunity to shoot some with an upcoming bride and groom and also another up and coming photographer (Amy, who was helping me with a wedding Saturday night) with her fiancee. Jory (seen below hard at work) was also there and helped shoot. Look out soon for some photos of the wedding on Saturday night.

I had a great time hanging out with friends this week at Wesley Ministries and doing some photography for them. It is funny how you can really tell the personality of each person through their photo. If you are ever hungry on a Monday at noon they also have free lunch on UL's campus.
